Questions, answered
What the app does, where the data comes from, and how your information is handled.
Data & prices
Directly from the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s own public data service, the same source for end-of-day history and intraday quotes. Nothing is scraped from third-party aggregators.
Closing prices and history refresh on a trading-day schedule, including follow-up runs after the close. On top of that, while the market is open the dashboard pulls live intraday quotes so your day P&L moves in real time. It pauses automatically when the session ends.
Roughly five years of daily closes for each stock you hold and for all five tracked indices. That is what powers the 30-day sparklines, per-stock price charts, correlation matrix, and benchmark comparisons.
Intraday quotes are close to live during trading hours but should be treated as indicative, not as a trading feed. For anything where precision matters, check your broker terminal.
Trades & holdings
Every purchase is stored as its own lot with its own date, price, and commission, rather than being averaged into a single blended cost. That is what makes correct FIFO sell treatment, per-lot holding periods, and a clear purchase history possible.
The importer targets JS Global trade-confirmation contract notes. It reads the contract number, symbol, quantity, rate, brokerage, SST, and levies from each row. Other brokers’ formats are not supported yet.
Nothing bad happens. Rows you have already imported are detected and flagged in the preview before you save, and blocked at the database level afterwards, so a duplicate import cannot silently double your position.
Yes. Edit or undo any trade from the transaction history, and everything downstream (holdings, average cost, realized gains, and value history) is recomputed from the corrected log. If a change would make a later sell impossible, it is rejected instead of silently corrupting your position.
Yes. Create as many as you want for personal, family, or strategy accounts. Each is fully isolated, with its own trades, cash, dividends, history, and tax status.
Simulation & research
Yes. Choose up to 15 stocks, their weights, an amount per investment, your investment interval, and an annual increase. A simulation uses available historical prices for a period of up to 60 months.
The Analysis workspace includes RSI, MACD, and 20, 50, and 200-session moving averages. Indicators require enough historical data and are tools for research, not trading recommendations.
No. Recorded dividend coverage is limited. The setup screen explains the available coverage for your selected stocks before you create a simulation. Historical results are not a forecast.
Account & privacy
Only you. Every request that touches portfolio data is checked against your signed-in session first, and a request for a portfolio you do not own is refused. Market prices are the only shared data in the system, because a closing price is the same fact for every user.
No, and you should never give it. There is no broker integration; you add trades manually or by importing contract-note PDFs you already have.
Yes. You can use Google or an email and password. If you registered with a password, sign in with that password; Google sign-in creates a separate identity unless you deliberately link them.
Use the “Forgot password?” link on the sign-in page. You will get a reset link valid for one hour, and it can only be used once.
Still curious?
The fastest answer is usually to try it on your own trades.
